Single
Trip Travel Insurance
If
you are planning to go on holiday in the near future,
you must make sure you're covered by Travel Insurance.
No-one wants the unexpected to happen when they go abroad,
but unfortunately there is no such thing as a totally
risk-free holiday.
Last year there were more than 400,000 insurance claims
by UK holiday-makers and business travellers, according
to the Association of British Insurers. Single Trip Travel
insurance is not so much an optional extra as an integral
part of any break.
Holiday Insurance Policies cover the obvious problems,
such as a stolen wallet or purse, an accident or an illness.
They also provide compensation for delays and cancellation,
for damaged or lost luggage, and even a telephone help
line for emergencies. |
Business
Travel Insurance
Travelling
on business is essential for many of us, but it can be
a real chore at times. Being away from home and your loved
ones can be bad enough, but things can get really bad
if you have an accident or are the victim of a theft.
In theory your employer should pay for any medical attention
you may need and should probably have corporate insurance
in place to cover for any losses you incur. But don't
bank on it!. There are plenty of business travellers who
have discovered to their cost that their company hasn't
in fact arranged adequate cover. |
